GuidePal City Guides

Get lost in a city you do not know is not always fun. You can buy an old fashion map, but now you can download the free app from GuidePal: City Guides. The app knows the way in 60 world cities! The app includes basic tips to know more about the culture and the city. Recommandations to shop, explore which part of the city and the ‘must see’ cultural activities. You can compose your own trip and every city has a app. Very handy is that you can use the app also offline, so no high bills by returning.

Attention students!

Do you also have to get used to the OV chip card? Or do you often forget to check in or out?

Try this app: OV Butler.
It will save you a lot of money.
OV Butler is an app that makes it easy to submit claims to transport companies when delays occurred or when the user has forgotten to check out the OV-chip card. This makes filling in long forms something of the past.

Smartr Contacts

Spool

One app I really like and use a lot is Spool. Spool is a free web service that allows you to save web content such as webpages, articles, photos, and videos offline to read later on your mobile device. You can use this app on your computer, Ipad or smart phone and it is all integrated. In addition, the service intelligently clips only the relevant content on the webpage, so the ads and menus don’t appear in your clippings. “Spooling” an article is a one click process. Once you have accessed the content you want to spool, just click the spool button made by the service’s browser extension. When the content is on your mobile device it is not necessary to have an internet connection. You can read them offline. I use it to read articles on the way, but also when I see an article but I don’t have the time to read it. I spool it and can read it on a later moment.
